The Big Bang: Crash Course Big History #1
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
14m 25sLänge
In which John Green, Hank Green, and Emily Graslie teach you about, well, everything. Big History is the history of everything. We're going to start with the Big Bang, take you right through all of history (recorded and otherwise), and even talk a little bit about the future. It is going to be awesome. In the awe-inspiring sense of the word awesome. In this episode, we walk you through the start of everything: The Big Bang. We'll look at how the universe unfolded at its very beginning, and how everything in the universe that we know today came into being. So that's kind of a big deal, right? Deat Atheist, Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhist, Jew, and other religious and non religious people. Let's just live together and respect others people belief if you want them to respect yours. Also I'm a Christian

10:38 that green note tho.....😂😂😂
-
And now I would like to add a peaceful comment that does not instigate anyone by saying that the outro sounds really good.

Could we just all regardless of whether Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Hindus, Mormons etc. just accept modern science?
While I am an atheist and I do enjoy having civiliced Philosophical debates with theists about God and morality and the resurrection etc. things like evolution and the Big Bang really aren't up for debate anymore.
If science conflicts with your beliefs then you can and should find ways to adjust your beliefs as most theists often do for which I respect them. -
im having a nerdgasm
-
brothers? you two look like monozygotic twins.

Isn't time just a concept? because time is based on how fast the movement and rotation between the interactions of the earth, moon, and Sun. How is Time calculated outside that understanding? And how can you even Calculate a Planet or Space when the only interaction you had is a visualization and sending sounds that you use faith, hopefully getting a signal back.

6:30 I mean I can only do this occasionally but sometimes... you look outside and you're like... Oh my goodness, this is nuts! how did we get trees!?

These guys have taught me so much since they started in 2012 and my life has never been so different, filled with knowledge and wonder! You guys have done so much for me. So I would sincerely like to thank you and keep it up!!!

i want john green back hr was not as boring like this nerd

The existentialist in me questions what we know about the big bang, really its quite presumptuous for our brains to talk about the creation of time and space themselves, concepts I give much respect to. You guys are gold, I didn't 'do' school. Curriculum's need to be dealt with.

Wait who is john and who is hank

Somebody failed on your voice modulation between the brother. One is quit and one is to loud. I would not complain but I'm cooking dinner and I have a handful of raw chick when John Green begins to speak and blows out my speakers, overmodulated, vine style....The content is great though. Thanks everybody.

The Big Bang was NOT the "creation" of The Universe.
Our cosmos, the portion of the universe we can observe, already existed as a singularity. That singularity changed its form in a "phase transition".
We don't even know if our cosmos is all there is or if it is only a small part of the actual Universe.
This is such an important distinction and it is super annoying that popular science programs gloss over it. -
Why Nepal?

Okay it doesn't make sense to speak of time before the Big Bang, but what was it exactly that banged? What caused that thing whatever it is to bang? and how would this all fit into a multiverse where an uncountable number of universes have done the same thing, before and after this universe?
