Wednesday July 13, 2016 I was diagnosed with T3 STAGE 2 breast cancer on August 8 I go to get a chemo port put in then I will have 6 treatments of chemo followed by either a lumpectomy or a mastectomy which ever the dr feels best with doing , after surgery i will go back for radiation. I know our faith is being tested but I will not give up and I will win this fight. My doctors and care team is at Oschners in New Orleans , LA I will have all my surgeries there but will get chemo at Mississippi Cancer Institute in Mccomb,Ms. I have a long road ahead traveling expenses, hotel stays, dr visits, medications, medical bills , medical insurance renewals any amount will help but most of all keep the prayers coming .i truly appreciate each and everyone of you thank you all from the bottom of my heart..

5-18-15 Monday will be my first day for chemo, scared! I had to take a pill to calm me down. The videos make it look like it not so bad.

nurse should have on a mask, not talk over it, patience face should face away. Cleaning should start in the middle where you access, then work out to periphery. never clean to the side then back in again. :/

I never used make up and found out that won't work very well with deep set eyes, and no eye lashes and no eye brows will look strange even if I get a wig.

Thank you so much for showing the chemo port. How quick does the hair, eye lashes and eye brows drop.? I was told to expect to lose all my hair including even body hair. Even if I get wig, how will I explain no eye ashes and no eye brows? I know that is being very petty when I lost out on a transplant and looking at death down the read so my secret will come out when I just not in this world anymore esp at my age.

They access your port a little differently than how they do mine. It's interesting. I made a video as well. Your video turned out really good!
