The surprising habits of original thinkers | Adam Grant
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
How do creative people come up with great ideas? Organizational psychologist Adam Grant studies "originals": thinkers who dream up new ideas and take action to put them into the world. In this talk, learn three unexpected habits of originals — including embracing failure. "The greatest originals are the ones who fail the most, because they're the ones who try the most," Grant says. "You need a lot of bad ideas in order to get a few good ones." TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes (or less). They didn't procrastinate they were thinking and connecting dots and actually developing ideas; testing verifying and validating. I think procrastinating is a wrong choice maybe success is a slow process

This is because original thinkers are usually INTP personalities (of which I am one). Read our profiles here, it describes us perfectly and explains why Adam sees them the way he did. https://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality

Wagner did it by writing his own lyrics instead of tasking it to others, which made the whole composition process that much longer and more complex, but it also gave him more control about the final product, to the point where he basically pioneered the concept of a character theme by introducing the appearance of his characters and locations with a musical phrase, making the opera that easier to understand and follow along. Also didn't hurt him to be a complete fucking genius.

Oh my God! This is so encouraging! "Vuja De" I love that term! I love being creative, and when one of my creations failed, as a result of using ideas from other people's work, it forced my brain to find a solution. I went to bed that night and my crazy brain went to work. When I woke up the next morning, I was able to see the problem from an entirely different angle and had a simple solution that actually added way more value to my creations and opened more doors to more expansion. :D

The most important is not procrastinating but deep thinking of what you are doing, which would only come from the serious attitude.
