He said he would not stand down until a superior officer ordered him to do so, and one happened to still be alive and relieved him.

This could be the one gun the crazy California politicians tried before forming their opinion, it is dangerous to everyone on all sides of the gun, it does basically what it wants and it's not common so it's kind of a ghost gun, and had they tried to translate those hieroglyphs on the side of the gun while they were really, REALLY high I do believe they thought it said "30 caliber magazine clips at 30 bullets in half a second!", just a theory though🤔

I only know a little about guns and such but what if you added a oil substance for the (bolt? the thing that kept going out and getting stuck) would that help it not jam as much?
