on this part how can you get up whe there is no where to get u[p?

ran into bug in this chapter (17). When I get to the mud hill and then walk to the ladder, she won't come over to help get me up the ladder. She doesn't finish her dialog leading up to that help. So I'm stuck at this point unless they put out a fix. I tried reloading the check point several times but no change. any suggestions?
