I just tried my JBL Flip. Works great.

Sound comes over phone speaker. no problems having them hear. Now that you have mentioned it, I will try using my Bluetooth speaker w/conferencing while skyping and post results. Amazon basics works well and is cheap.

are you getting audio from the person your skyping with coming through the TV or the cell phone? If you place the cell phone next to the TV and you are seated several feet away does the person your skyping with hear your audio?
