Victoza Pen Quick Guide

+Pate Yate: Usually your prescriptions will write for a box of 3 pens. If you aren't starting to use your victozia pens, you should leave them all refrigerated. Use one pen at a time and keep the pens that haven't been use yet in the refrigerator. Once a pen has been taken out of the fridge and use for the first time, you must store it a room temperature (it will be good for 30 days at room temperature, discard anything left on the used pen after 30 days). You shouldn't put the used pen back in the fridge, because fluctuation in temperature of the used pen can affect its efficacy. When you take a pen out of the fridge for the first time to use it, you can allow a pen to come to room temperature if its uncomfortable for u to inject a cold pen.

Why does it say to refrigerate the pens before first usage? Should I allow it to come to room temperature before I use it? I have 3 pens, should they all be stored at room temperature? Or should they all be refrigerated? This doesn't make a bit of sense!
