i have unintalled my wechat and forgot to save the conversation. how to retrieve / restore my conversation? can i ask my friend to back up and send me the file back up?

WeChat Backup are stored on their server. We don't get any file and this backup is stored for 7 days. After that they delete it. Try hit Restore button and see what happens.
