They just want to control mars like they do the Earth. Leave Mars alone you greedy wolves. They do this so people can't escape a system of control (money and other means). i''d like to live on mars and get away from stupid people (violence, racism etc...). I'd like for me to live in "Luxury Mars". But please don't encourage others because some people are just meant to stay on earth for god sakes

Mars One still sounds like a scam to me, there are so many obstacles with space travel, and I don't think Mars One has the finical support and technologies needed to address it.
All astronauts can only stay in orbit for at most 4 months for each mission, because of health problem with living in zero gravity, and it takes at least a year to get to Mars from Earth. Unless we create artificial gravity on board, which will require extreme advance technology and will increase size of the spaceship dramatically, almost too expensive to even build one.
We have never left Earth magnetic field which protects us from cosmic radiation, and we have no idea what problem it could cause.
Suppose Mars One did launch human space rocket in 2025, I doubt those passenger will ever land in Mars ALIVE. -
I think tht a lot companies like Google, Dell, Microsoft Windows should help with new technology and make the project process faster

And what are they going to eat on mars? Just vegetables they are going to grow? No meat? Just potatoes? And what if something brakes? A building a machine? Who is going to fix it and with what infra-structure? This needs endless years of preparation and a lot of missions to mars.. 2025?? What a joke...
