Why good leaders make you feel safe | Simon Sinek
wie Sie tun, machen, Film, Beispiel
What makes a great leader? Management theorist Simon Sinek suggests, it's someone who makes their employees feel secure, who draws staffers into a circle of trust. But creating trust and safety — especially in an uneven economy — means taking on big responsibility. I agree that you are not just "born" that way. You are molded, you are tempered and reared to be your best. Thank you parents, thank you teachers, thank you leaders. You shape the future and make us the best version of ourselves.

He said, great leader never sacrifice people for number and gave example of Ghandhi which is absolutely a miss choice information because Ghandhi planed to kill innocent people in Pakistan India partition and he never made an effort to stope Hindus as he introduced religion in politics of freedom and independence. Even he made Indian Muslims to sacrifice their life to safe guard turk Khilafat. He was a true manipulator who is wrongly known a father of peaceful struggle. India and Pakistan is still suffering because of his betrayal to his people.

Genial, cuanta falta de verdaderos líderes tenemos en nuestro mundo

I think the fear that your clumsy or lazy performance can get you fired... gives you more determination and sincerity. Don't wanna say that he's wrong, but firing a clumsy employee with no possibility of further development sounds fair to me

I agree with 90% of what Simon says, but I think, at least in this video, he neglects to put any responsibility on the lower level workers. I'm not saying they should have more responsibility than the upper management, but they do deserve at least a little.
Having a negative attitude about work and becoming a cancer to your team is not completely the fault of the leadership. I don't think you can just plug ANY person in ANY organization and expect results, no matter how strong the culture or leadership is. Sometimes people just don't fit. Yet they stay put in their positions because they are afraid of losing a paycheck or insecure in the ability to secure other employment. Keeping this type of person around can be damaging to the culture and make the manager's life much more difficult. There may be a point that that person needs to move on, and the leadership may need make that decision. So the idea of never firing people is a little extreme.
So, yes, there is a leadership problem. But lets not forget that not every business is full of driven individuals looking to achieve their highest potential.
This is just my 2 cents. -

Brilliant talk

There are not leaders, I can't see any leader. I just see followers in the best case scenario. I see bosses and blind systems slaves. Nice show mr Simon, but the world outside is .... up, for good and forever.

Great Video! Simon Sinek is very Wise!Parents are the Greatest Leaders. It's interesting how we spend Time, Money and Energy, to train ourselves to be teachers, Healers, Educaters, Protectors, Engineers, salesman and even business savy. Yet most of us spend very little time, money and energy, to train ourselves to be the greatest parent/s to our children. Parenting classes should be made compulsory in states and countries, we will raise our children healthier physically, socially and mentally.
